Good luck to Arnel...I don't want to take anything away from the ride he's about to take and, I'm sure, enjoy greatly. And what's done is done and Jeff is better off for it...

But, again, DAMN Jeff was an ass kicker...my wife saw the Jourey/Def Leppard tour without me and from her own mouth JSS was the best thing of the whole night...sang his ass off and owned the crowd.

Yeah, at least we got some incredible boots from it, some of the best Journey boots in existence.

Saw him with JRNY in St. Louis. Not the best show as they had some serious audio problems, but the energy level was decent. Someone also needs to tell JSS the chain wallet thing when out in 1989. At least he wasn't wearing tails.

It is a dead horse. He was a great replacement singer that helped people from asking for a refund when SteveA couldn't show up. JSS rocks, why we would we want a mellowed down version of JSS in Journey? Journey music is a different vibe. I don't like seeing JSS or Deen sing those ballads, ugh...

Disclaimer: JSS is amazing, great voice, etc. But better for his own music or harder rock music. Stand Up And Shout is an incredible tune.

Correct, but he could have done some good stuff with them.. I don't know,I really like Soul SirkUs, I just think most fans want the songs sounding like Perry, and Jeff could do a good job,but he had to try to be Perry and I think Journey did him a favor, cause it might have in the long run F'd his throat up.. Look at it this way,we get Jeff's new album and Journey's..Win Win in my opinion.

JSS wasn't one dimensional. He could sing anything from heavy metal to R and B. Jeff would've taken Journey to new heights that the band had not seen since Steve Perry. Yes, Jeff was THAT good.

Shut up Voltron! j/k Just wanted to say Voltron.. The problem is... Soul SirkUs was all of Journey but Cain, and he contributed.. They just added Jeff.. If Jeff joined Journey, its Soul SirkUs.. I think management caught that and they made an executive decision.. Plus,I don't know what label they are on now..Sony? But,I'm betting they wanted to make as much money as they could and it wasn't going to happen in their eyes without a Perry clone..

what??

Neal was in SS and that's it. Sure Deen was on the first recording, but that's it. Azoff made sure SS would not succeed, he couldn't have his Journey gravy trained derailed.

You're a complete idiot. If you are going to argue, at least get half the facts right. With that, let's breakdown yet another sorry assed post from you.

Journey69 wrote: The problem is... Soul SirkUs was all of Journey but Cain, and he contributed..
Cain contributed? The fuck he did. He is nowhere to be found on the World Play CD. Jesus, are you serious?

They just added Jeff.. If Jeff joined Journey, its Soul SirkUs.
They also added Marco Mendoza, who plays circles around Valory. Jeff did join Journey, and it was Journey. The guy can change his inflections and tone you know. If he were to sing on a *gasp* Dokken cd, which he has, I am sure he won't bring his Journey voice or his Prince voice.

. I think management caught that and they made an executive decision..

You thought wrong, as usual. Management caught something, but it wasn't that. Mgt caught the fact that SS was ready to explode along with Velvet Revolver and Audio Slave, and they saw their cash cow Journey being left in the hot Summer sun to die. Azoff backed waaay off SS much to the anger of Neal Schon. There are no secrets to this.

Plus,I don't know what label they are on now..Sony? But,I'm betting they wanted to make as much money as they could and it wasn't going to happen in their eyes without a Perry clone..

Sony? Haha, yeah dude, Journey is with Sony, and I am fucking Shania Twain tonight.

First you say Jeff joining Journey makes them SoulSirkus, and now you say he is another Perry clone. You are a retard.
