To me, Sambo is a bit bluesier than Schon....but not in any way that makes him better than Schon...just in that, if they were both improvising in a solo section, Sambora would likely play something bluesy before doing something flashy or fierce...and schon would likely do the exact opposite....and play something fierch/flashy before doing something bluesy. Both are capable of doing either...I just think Sambora, given the way he's evolved as a player, resorts a little more to his inner-clapton.
Also, and this is no contest, Sambora is a far better singer than neal could ever hope to be!

granted, there's a long list of singers out there that could get the best of Neal, vocally!
