Yeah, my cat's love Christmas also. For some odd reason they love climbing up the Christmas tree. First time it happened I immediately had to stop what I was doing to look at the tree and ask myself what the fuck is happening to the Christmas tree? It looked to me like the tree was in a 5.7 magnitude earthquake but nothing else in the house was moving. I think it's the tree smell that gets cat's thinking their back out in the wild and so they behave as such.

Yes it would have been great to have on video, but it was so spontanious I didn't have a chance to get the camera out before they stopped. Apparently both the cats were in the tree and all at once for some unknown reason they started to play fight and chase each other around. It was at that moment when the tree caught my attention because it seemed that it was just going wacko by itself as far as I knew.
