Vegas Dates in March

"Pineda will be back in Marin by in late January or early February for two weeks of rehearsals before a concert in Santiago, Chile, and a couple of shows in Vegas in March that will be filmed for a live DVD. This summer, the band tours the U.S. and then heads to Europe. The new album is due in the spring."
I noticed it says a "couple of shows in Vegas." I know there's the one with the convention, but is the other one for the public by chance?

Live DVD sounds interesting, it will have the classics re-worked and probsbly re-released as a CD also, much better than just recording an album with the classics in my opinion.

Sounds like the same formula as before.... While SA was in the band for a couple years before the DVD came out... they went to Vegas and cut a DVD so the world could see the new Journey... Don't these dudes have any creativity to try something different?

What better place to film a concert DVD to showcase a new singer than Las Vegas where they are guaranteed a large venue and a packed house. How much more creative could any band make this? Journey has never been a theatrical band like Pink Floyd so what we will get is just Journey doing what they do best and thats what Im looking forward to!

My guess is they wanna get AP on DVD before they thrash his voice. Doesn't make sense any other way. AP hasn't been driven hard and put away wet so why else would they wanna video a concert already?

Doesn't matter. They already got him on CD, which as you all know, is good enough for a live performance. They always promise new DVD's and yet NEVER deliver for one reason or another, and even if they do play live while in Vegas, they will undoubtedly go pro tool the shit out of it.

No doubt, I just meant they wanna get it in the can so they can start cashing in on having a touring unit again.
VERY surprising they wanna throw him into a DVD this early. All about the moola.

Its the only thing its about, the best thing they can do is not say stupid shit like they in the past and get a smart PR man.

Maybe in a few years you will be able to buy a DVD combo package with 10 live Journey DVD's - each one having a different lead singer on it.

Nah, Deano's just bored like most of us. Nothing to really talk about.
At least you two can argue sports. Was it you that posted that hot girlfriend picture? Humina, humina, a mighty fine specimen.

The Schon/Cain/PickleFest joke writes itself, so I'll just post a funny smiley and be on my way...

The new album and DVD is very intriguing to me. I'm just curious if there is another Vegas show the general public can attend. Does anybody know about this? Andrew?
