I just think the songwriting chemistry between Cain and Perry was unmatched. We'll never know if that chemistry could have existed between Perry and Rolie, but we know for sure that there was something special between Cain and Perry! Not to mention, without Cain, there would be no "Faithfully", the greatest ballad ever written!
John from Boston
Well that's right, this band really put themselves on the map when Cain joined, that's undisputed. The chemistry between Schon, Perry, Cain is some of the best if not the best Ive ever witnessed, and you would be hard pressed to find a better trio, maybe equal, but not better. I know you don't like Open Arms though John, I actually love that tune, I know it's over done, but I also love Faithfully as well, that ballad from Frontiers is a monster classic in every way.
