This is completely unnecessary question. It goes to show the utter lack of ethnic/cultural awareness. Americans, in general, does not consider your ethnic origin as a basis for taking/not taking you to the entertainment world. Be it in a rock band scene, broadway musical or anything for that matter. It's your skills. America is so varied and had been opened for migrations since god know when that a considerable amount of populations are asians/mixed asians. This is equally true to europeans, africans etc...

I do not want to promote hatred or argument of any kind I just felt the need to answer on the issue. Peace everyone. But anyway here's some:

Filipino (Philippines) American

Some known Filipinos (Philippines)

Not a complete list but do please ignore Imelda Marcos okay. Whoever uploaded it is clearly, such a big followerof Imelda and her crazy shoes.

Well, one must be wary of "newbies" posting, Journey + Message Boards + Newbies = Craploa (mostly). I'd let this one slide.

In reality, not too many American bands have Asian frontmen, but I guess not too many Asian bands have American frontmen.

Trouble can be stirred by those drive by posters...my advice - let it go and let's just see how the year ahead pans out.
