If he can still sing at that level I don't understand why the man won't put out another album. I'd love a whole album of songs like I can't let you go.

Totally agree.

That song fits him so well....the style of it.....the Key it's in....allows him to sing falsetto with absolutely no effort....and his harmonies sound like the "Escape" era. :shock:

Anything like that, or "If Only For The Moment, Girl" / "What Was" would be most excellent.....

I've got that song"I Can't Let You Go". It definitely shows HE still got the voice, but then I've never doubted that anyway.

You talk about emotion in a song. There is no song that man ever did that will surpass "What Was". It puts me in a trance every time. Now, "When I Think of You" comes awfully close. Singing of the two women that meant the most to him in his life. THAT, my friends, is the magic of Steve Perry.

CLYG showcases Steve's TRUE range....he makes it sound so easy.
