I'm actually shocked (seriously) that you both left off World Gone Wild. Especially with that Satriani-like guitar work at the end.

Good tune, but Separate Ways II loses points for originality.

Unfortunately, I've never heard WGW. I guess my version of Arrival was the "original."

Separate Ways 2 was Message Of Love. My opinion anyway.

ProgRocker: go get the American release of Arrival over at Best Buy or something. 2 songs your probably don't have...well...one I know for sure now...but the other is Nothin' Comes Close. Both good tunes...but WGW SHREDS. :-)

You mean "Message of Love"? Decent song, but a definite steal from Separate Ways.

"World Gone Wild" and "Higher Place" are killer tracks that definitely both rank in my top 10 Journey songs, from any era.

Thank you, Jack Blades. The man is no mortal...he is a demigod.

I'd love to see Jack Blades replace Ross in Journey..

..or maybe have Blades do a side-project with Schon, and Castronovo. Maybe have Fitz do keys.

Great, soft, understated little ballad.

Time 3 will NEVER be upstaged by Generations and Arrival songs. It will never happen because record companies will not get behind it because they already saw enough when those albums were released.

I wish the band would have re-recorded that one because Neal said he didn't like the way it turned out. He said it sounded to "boy band-ish" so I would be interested to hear a different take on it. But I really do like that song as is!!

What's the difference between the two versions of "To Be Alive Again"? First I've heard of it.

The US version fades out at the end, the Jap version does not...goes on like 20 secs longer and comes to a full conclusion.
