Rank these singers.

Paul Rodgers
Mike Reno
Tommy Shaw
Jack Blades
If you can't rank all ten in order then at least try to rank the top 3 or the top 5.

I'm still wondering where Dennis DeYoung is!? He's got a much better voice than Tommy.

I have a slight preference for Tommy Shaw's singing over DeYoung. I wouldn't say it's a big difference to me, but I slightly prefer Shaw. There were a bunch more singers that I would have liked to put on the list, but I didn't want to make the list to long because if I did then no one would even bother answering.

Exactly..put his name on the list..then I vote..why put Tommy up..not Dennis?
How can you make a list like this and not put Dennis Deyoung or Michael Sweet on it?

Some of the others I was thinking about putting on the list, but again I didn't because I didn't want to make the list to long, are.
Steve Augeri (I didn't because of all of the bashing that he has gotten on here in the past)
Dennis DeYoung
John Waite
Kelly Keagy
Don Barnes
Fergy Frederiksen
Bobby Kimball
Sammy Hagar
Eric Martin
Dann Huff
Brad Delp
And some others.
But again, who's going to want to rank 21 or more singers?
You can all add any singer you want to the list. But I was curious as to where everyone would rank those first ten that I named.

As far back as the late 80's I was thinking that Eric Martin could have been a good choice to be the lead singer in Journey if they ever intended to do an album without Steve Perry. Martin's a great singer.
Anyone else think that Jeff Keith from Tesla sounds similar to Eric Martin?

StevePerry- Freddie Mercury-Robert Plant -Steven Tyler- Lou Gramm-Dennis DeYoung- Jimi Jamison- Steve Walsh. That sums up the 70's-80's.

That's to be expected on the Journey forum.
I'd put Jimi Jamison at #1 and Steve Perry at #2.

Very much so, love both their voices. Eric's got more soul IMO though. I find EM's voice a mix between Jeff Keith and Steve Perry. He's got a little of JK's smoky rasp and a lot of SP's soul/passion. Best of both worlds vocally.
