Elvis, Lennon and James Brown.

The best ever singer, The greatest mind, and a cool hip black brutha.

Oh yeah, George Harrison was a class act and Freddie. Cocks or not, the boy could sing.

Sorry, I forgot about Patsy Cline and Buddy Holly. Fuck, if they only had a fast train to ride rather than a piece of shit airplane.

Two great voices.

How about Karen Carpenter - Another needless death. All she had to do was eat a sandwich once in a while and she'd still be here.

Or just perform oral sex to completion would have dragged out her life just a bit more.

Didn't Lou Gramm lose his voice to steroid treatment for Brain Cancer? I saw him singing on a morning show a little while back. Could scarcely believe it was the same voice.

If only Mamma Cass had given that sandwhich to Karen.....

I know it's shitty, but I laughed at that.

I wish the greatest drummer of all time - Moonie - had stuck around so I could have gotten to experience that.
He left WAY too soon.

(trivia: Keith Moon died in the same London flat that Mama Cass died in exactly 4 years and one month to the day beforehand)

Right there with you! A GREAT songwriter, and a fantastic performer. He couldn't SING like a castrato, but he was a great Rock and Roll artist! And incidentally, he is SORELY missed...

I'd throw Bon Scott in there too!
