Bravo! I always thought she was country's Pat Benatar. She's got an amazing voice! Would be great to see her cross over to rock.

Always thought that Journey's next greatest hits album should be the band playing, but guest singers doing the lead vocal. Some of us would hate it. Many would debate it. But still it would sell. And, it'd be a nice segue for Journey to promote a new lead singer - get a duet on a movie sound track.

They did CMT Crossroads, which was awesome! 8) I'm not a country fan, but I do like Martina's voice.

That's a really good idea. I wonder if Azoff tested the waters on that idea with anyone either in the band or at a label? It would really cement the idea in the public consciousness (and with critics) that Journey wasn't just a fly by night band. Their music is part of pop culture history. They really should be considered for the R&R hall of fame. Such an injustice that Madonna will be there but Journey won't.

You know, that wouldn't have been a bad idea for an album of new material! Oh, we would tear the idea to pieces and bitch and gripe and all the other things Journey fans like to do, but it would be an interesting concept.

Martina is a fabulous singer and she did a great job on DSB. All of the really great voices are singing what's catagorized as country now. There's no real singing to do in what's on top 40 anymore.

great voice...but she sings too many slow sappy songs for my liking.
occasionally I'll catch myself watching that video of jimmy buffett and her just because she's scorching hot. 'trip around the sun' it's called. yummy meat curtains...mmm.

i usually dont like her voice, sounds like she is yellng at me. but she really sounds good, the clip that I saw, {from a way back} she looked like Perry in 1980 , sounded just like him, the guitar player could replace Neal
