I knew I had it somewhere!
Deen Castronovo - Don't Stop Believin - Acoustic Studio Version
Sorry it's only 96kbps...that's actually how I had it - I don't believe in 'upsampling" just to impress people.
ENJOY!

Love the music, dislike the vocals. Voice sounds fried.

Thanks for sharing this.
I'm surprised he's belting as hard as he is. Doesn't match the characters of the instrumentals. Neat to hear, but very odd choices. He has such a natural sounding vibrato too so it's strange. Then again, he seems to sing the way he plays drums. All power, no finesse.

I agree. Deen is in the wrong genre of music for his style of drumming. His original drumming in Journey has been somewhere between mediocre and awful. Hopefully, the new album is different.

That was horrible it sounds like he is in pain.
Thanks for posting though it was interesting to hear without all the techno bells and whistles of the previous version.

I do give him credit though, as he has improved tremendously since his Bad English days.
Got bored with my iPod lineup and started sifting the dust off my old CD's. I just gave some of those old tracks a listen and man, he was horrible with Bad English. I mean really bland boring thumping. Really grates on the ears especially after you've heard Neal playing with Steve Smith. I mean that's it, game over.
I hope Kevin steered Deen into a more sophisticated direction during the recording sessions. Time will tell-

It doesn't sound like Deen..I mean, I am sure it is him, but he sounds like he had a bad cold when he recorded this..usually his voice is so clear. this was raspy.
Loved the music..different, but very melodic.

Dude, yank the bus ticket out of your ear, this guy can flat BELT.
Sally, where's the After The Fall from?
I'd give Deano's right index finger to have that.

I don't know, 13. I just collected them from here and there, then burned them. Anyway, I will have that one in your PM box soon.

They have to be soundchecks, right?
Far's I know the only time post-perry officially rolled After The Fall out, Augeri fronted it.
And I KNOW KTYLM had to be a soundcheck

Not this one I have, 13. Deen did sing it in concert that particular night.

Deen did sing After the Fall live.....not too many times, but he and Ross used to play it at soundcheck.....CONSTANTLY.
Deen's version of Knowing That You Love Me was the guide vocal. There is a mix of it out there, but it's only a rough. the instruments and effects and such are just faders pulled up......STUNNING vocal, though. Heard they were trying to get Travis Tritt to cut it when Randy Jackson was producing some stuff for him......
