Most of the message boards have comments of appreciation and respect, not to mention the joy of getting a message from Steve on his birthday. All the best to that great guy. 8)

Happy Happy Birthday, Steve!

Thank you for letting us share in your special day!!!!

May rays of sunshine warm your face
When rain falls let laughter fill the space
Sunsets to fill your heart with the colors it paints
Dreams to caress you softly til its time to wake...

I agree but... is this all it takes to get the man some respect? A birthday message FROM him... (shouldn't it be the other way around on HIS day?) Last year everyone and their brother was ready to crucify, or at least had seriously crummy comments about him, for not making a peep.

But this year he peeped, so all is well?

You bet! For the majority of us, he can do no wrong. He's given too much.

It better. It was -24 this morning. I'm freezing my tits off here. Although, to be fair, they did say it will shoot up to 40 by Monday, so I guess a big "Thanks, Steve Perry!" is in order. :D No one tell me he didn't see his shadow. I'll be pissed.

Wow, -24... nice to see it didn't warm up any from the weekend. Dude, it was so cold (How cold was it?)... so cold that my drink froze solid driving just a few miles down the Kennedy. I had the heat on full blast, put my hand to the vent, couldn't feel a thing. Aahhh... Chicago.

Perry doesn't have a shadow. The world revolves around him, how could he? 8) :P

Steve Perry doesn't do push-ups. He pushes the earth away from his body.

Giraffes are what happened when Steve Perry upper-cutted a horse........I could go on and on.......

Oh come on, you don't expect him to post a message saying "I saw that there are a lot of message and I don't have time to read them all", do you? Whether he actually looks at those sites or not, he's not going to to admit that. I wouldn't either. But of course the official record stands that he does not. *struggles not to roll eyes*

Ah, a thread acknowledging Steve's message that isn't locked and deleted.

It was great to hear from him once in awhile. A pleasant surprise, really, when you don't expect it. Now, about that new music .... j/k!
