Since I can't get anyone to join me on that forum, I'll bring it here if that is ok. This song comes from Live at the Gods - same place where former Journey lead singer JSS released a DVD from - which is very good by the way. This song is called "Honestly". Let me know what you think. The vocals are a little more raspy than some of you might like, but I think Harry Hess is a great singer!

:D

I have everything they have ever done. Not my favourite song.

"Rain". That's 'Scarem at its best.

Rain is probably my favorite too. Honestly is better in its studio form, but I was going for the Journey connection with Soto and Live at the Gods to get some interest.

Harem Scarem is a fantastic band. I've only been able to get a hold of 5 of their CDs since I was first exposed to them, but they're all very, very good.

I wish more people knew about them. Here is a good checklist so you can see what you may want to add to your collection!

I've heard of them, but know absolutely nothing about them. Should I be checking them out? Do they compare with anyone else in particular, or are they just 100% their own style?

The best advice and cheapest short of blowing a lot of money on imports is to type "Harem Scarem" into youtube and see what you think. The music is very melodic. Harry Hess sounds like a cross between a more modern rock singer with a tinge of Bryan Adams I think. Raspy, but full of emotion. Check them out and let me know what ya think.

I think 7 is right, I just checked out Rain on youtube and much prefer his vocals on that one than that Honestly clip. On that Honestly clip, his vocals sounded almost Nirvana-ish in parts.

Man would that have been a great show to see (Gods 2002). JSS, Eric Martin, Honeymoon Suite, Harem Scarem, etc............. :D

Try the studio version of Honestly on youtube. That one might be more to your tastes.

I'll post more when I get back if anyone is interested. Thanks to everyone who checked them out. I only put it in this Journey forum because no one answered me in the Harem forum. Now I know this is the main place. Thanks for answering me.
