Horrible combination.
While I love both bands, putting all three together just means shorter sets
and guarantees nothing but a DD/GH bore-fest.

Hahaha, I called this 3 months ago.

Pay up fuckers!

Carlitto, you didn't expect anything GH did you? Only Bruce and U2 play new stuff anymore.

Well,3 shorter sets, but sweet...LOL.The GH are what the casual fans are expecting anyway and all three bands have nice DDs.

Journey recorded 25 new songs in Sausalito, half of them will end up on the album and probably none on tour...But we can't be sure, maybe they'll throw one or two in the setlist.Maybe in Vegas for the DVD? :)

Depending on the price, I can honestly say that I'd be interested in seeing both Heart and Cheap Trick on the same bill having nothing to do with Journey. I can get behind this tour regardless of wanting to take a wait and see approach to Arnel prior to spending money for a ticket. But again, price better not be too high.

Even still, one of you guys better get some cell phone recordings of Journey in Vegas up on youtube first!

I don't have second life...Is there really a Ross Valory character talking with Ross' voice coming out of it's mouth, or is it like a text chat or something? The whole Sims thing just seems kind of creepy.

Laura,
Any plans to post clips or samples of the new stuff (or GH with Arnel) on their website?

I've always wanted to see Heart live just to see how good they are. As for Cheap Trick, they've basically been a County Fair act for 10+ years. They do put on an ok show though. It's a solid ticket. If this is the touring packege I like it.

Cheap Trick will play their 7/8 songs, Heart will play their 10/12 songs and Journey will play 20

Cheap Trick is a great band. Funny that Heart and Cheap Trick fit together IMO but Journey is a little different.

Did he actually say it would be all 3 on the bill, maybe he was saying they would be doing some shows with Cheap Trick and some shows with Heart?

Ross is live on the radio station that broadcasts on the Island. It's really him talking, answering Qs and picking Journey songs to be played on air. He's really cool and collected. :D
He has a pretty accurate avatar sitting on the stage on a chair ("waiting for his body" )...It's not creepy at all,it's funny!

No samples will be posted anywhere,no leaks. The album will be released in May.

Both bands are definitely warm up, openers for Journey, but I like this ticket.

Although RV didn't say anything about who's opening and all,my personal guess is: CT -- Journey -- Heart...

It would be normal for Journey to close the show.(I bet the diehard Heart fans would say the same thing about Heart, lol)
However I have a feeling that Journey's not the headliner.I could be wrong tho...

Cheap Trick is the weakest link...that is certain. I say it's CT, Heart and then Journey. I guess Journey and Heart could be flip-flopped because I have no idea what sort of fan base Heart has.

All I know is Neal better keep Soto on speed dial....Cuz I predict Ann eats Arnel somewhere between the 4th and 7th shows.

HAH! That's awesome. In a really geeky way... :P

I think you're right about the show order. Shame that Journey won't put up even 30 second samples of the GH recorded by Arnel. I don't see how that's a "leak" of anything. Especially in 30 second samples. I guess nothing risked nothing lost.

Heart is magnificent, saw them on tour last year! Nancy and Ann's voices are still fantastic.

Too many acts, 75 minute DD setlists, ho hum.
It will rake in coin, though.

I would still marry Ann Wilson in a heartbeat. She could just sing to me all day and all night.

I think this is a SUPERB package. I will actually consider getting actual seats (as opposed to lawn) for this show if I'm able to make the show.

I can't imagine that they would close over Journey.

No way does Heart close. They don't have half the drawing power Journey does, even with the duck duck goose lead singer bullshit.

I disagree. Journey closes this show for sure.

I'm sticking to my bet here...Heart's got Ann and Nancy. People can't recognize the face of Journey anymore.

20?? No way. They barely played 15 with Def Leppard!
