OT: The SH*T I Eat !!!

I really try to eat well, and don't do a lot of junk. Still, when you have a 4-year old, sometimes quick works best. However, in the last week, I've ordered a few things that looked so hilarious I had to take a picture with my cell phone camera, and wanted to share them with my friends here... Bon Appetite! :P

#1 Burger King Chicken Nugget: A dang shame that crap like this is about the only thing my daughter wants to eat, but occasionally I have to oblige. I believe these chicken nuggets are supposed to be shaped like little crowns, but this one looked suspiciously like someone flipping me the bird! :P

#2 Sh*t Kabab from a Greek Restaurant: Great new restaurant, but it was all I could do to keep from busting out laughing when she brought the plate to my table. The pic is self explanatory, and this is after I'd already eaten most of the first one. I have a feeling these will come out looking much the same as they did going down! :P

Rip, only you would post photos of funny food!

Get some pics of the food in Vegas - I may not want to see Journey, but I'm jealous that everyone else will be partying!

Too funny, Rip! FYI, my daughter will be 8 this weekend, and her tastes are finally becoming broader. The chicken nugget days do end! My daughter still likes them, but not for every meal like she used to. We started pretty early with the "you'll eat what we're eating" idea (unless it's something really disgusting to kids). Usually my daughter will tell us how disgusting the food is, but she knows that she has to eat at least some of it! We're not completely heartless, because there is always at least one thing on the plate that she likes.

Hey! My kiddo mainly likes the cheapest, pieces-part chicken nuggets available -- that fused together stuff. She doesn't seem to like the better quality ones, and will barely touch them at all if there are fries on the plate -- she'll just eat the fries, so I've started substituting fruit or something for the fries. I'm trying to get her eating healthier stuff, but when we go out, it's just kind of a waste to buy her $6-$7 worth of food that she won't touch. We are having a pow-wow about her eating habits this week, and are going to come up with a game plan.

Right now I'm eating a pint of delicious beans I got from the store -- I'm going to earn my name tonight. :P

I'm actually surprised it's the girls who are replying to this thread...

Me too! I ate twenty chicken wings last night, by myself!

Rip, you are one of the funniest SOB's I have ever (not) met. You keep me rolling.

My boy is turning six in two weeks and all he eats are Wendy's chicken nuggets, Eggo Waffles, and Goldfish. That's it. All the game plans in the world don't work until your kid finally decides to stop eating shit food. I put out a full meal in front of my son every night and he just looks at it and laughs at me! We've had standoffs at the table...sigh.

My best friend in first and second grade was a kid named Josh Goldstein. He was Jewish (and his family was Orthodox), and all he ate until he was seven was hot dogs! HOW they determined that is what he would eat...with his father being a Rabbi and all...I just don't know.

FREAKY!!! So does mine! There are only a small handful of things she will eat, and chicken nuggets, Eggo Waffles and Goldfish are 3 of 'em! Last night I was starving after my workout, and all I could find was a bag of Cheddar Cheese Goldfish... Needless to say, I went grocery shopping tonight... :P

Simple! Hebrew National brand! :D Best hot dogs ever! And kosher, for those who need to follow those rules.

Kosher, perhaps, but that still doesn't change what they are made of. There are parts of cows, pigs, and chickens that I just simply don't find the need to eat. :P

No pigs, but I don't want to think about the rest. Really. I don't. Ever. :D

Authentico, south o' the border Mexican food can be just as dangerous... I counted the different kinds of meat one of those places offered as options for their tacos -- 13!!! I can only think of 3 that I'd be interested in... :P
