My dream scenario would be perry getting that "urge to be in Journey again," calling Cain, Neal snatching the horn away and laughing into the mouthpiece saying "No thanks, steveo we're good on that" them getting JSS back as singer recording albums and touring and releasing the old concerts on spiffed up new dvds. :)

What would make me happy is booting Arnel, strapping Cain up with a rhythm guitar, bringing back Gregg Rolie, and embracing some progressive rock/metal.

Will be interesting to see how the poll evolves when I'll log in tomorrow.
I hope Monker will vote too - I'd hate to see the last option unused.

Haha, lots of good answers. As someone said, the 1st is a pipedream, can't even dare to think of it as a possibility. Wishing for more dvd's of the classic lineup is more realistic, so that's what I voted for.

Great thread, Laura. :D There were at least 3 I COULD'VE voted for, but went with the DVDs of the 80s shows. It seems unlikely at this point, but certainly MORE likely than a couple of the other options. ;)

In a perfect world Steve Perry still sounds as good as he did in the 1981 to 1983 time period. Perry rejoins the band and they all get a long great and record a new album and tour like crazy.

In reality I am just happy to hear the album they are recording with Arnel, and I can't wait for the tour.

DVD from the Frontiers tour - maybe the show in Detroit - classic concert. had it on a cassette tape years ago when it was rebroadcast on the Westwood 1 radio network, tape is pretty much disintegrated now.

Bryan Adams opened for Journey in that tour- if you could get his opening perfomance on the same DVD that would be really cool!

Oh god. It's gonna be that kind of day here today isn't it?
I've always seemed to go for the babyfaced boys, so I'd have probably went for Luke Skywalker.
Besides, "Skywalker" is a much cooler last name to marry into than "Solo". :D

Man Luke was a whiny little turdmuffin. But if you like babyfaced boys, you'd have one. I like rough, rugged, stinky, manly-men!

Meaning I'd rather wake up next to this:

Luke hasn't aged well, mind you...

THEN. I'm talking Skywalker back THEN.
But I just lost my appetite for breakfast, so thanks for that.

No. You're right. Luke hasn't aged well.
He found out Vader was his baby-daddy and it all went to crap after that.
