I love Dokken,,, but seems like Dean is getting rather pissed over this..... So can we stop posting new Dokken threads? (This is the last one, Dean, )

I'm sorry, but last I checked, this board and site is owned and run by someone else. Oh, and I love Dokken, too.

Hell, there's no Dokken board and there's more non-Journey than Journey-related stuff here lately anyway. Honestly, there could be worse threads (and there has been!) than this.

Honestly, the level of Dokken obsession on this board has grown quite breathtaking in scope. The Journey board has more little Dokken traps set here and there than Burma has landmines, and I can't help but step on each and every one of them. It's amazing!

I've even had someone surmise that I might in fact be Don Dokken... Hmm...................

I tell ya what, I've really grown to love everyone here, and would seriously dig for anyone that wants to, to call me and leave me a voicemail. Would be great to put some voices with the screen names. I'm going to be away from the computer for a while, but will be checking my messages. It will really brighten my day. Maybe you better just use it in pm lest you get calls from the more unwanted elements, lurkers or recently departed 'friends'. Not too mention sales calls etc. Also there are people here from around the globe so the whole time zone thing might come into effect. Last thing you want is me calling you up drunk from England at 2am your time bemoaning the fact that you can't buy Crest White Strips over the counter here.

Finally if you are taking calls from us you might miss one from your evil master Don Dokken wishing to plot strategy with you!

LOL... I'm going to be deleting the # from that post in 24 hours, so I doubt it's going to get too exploited in that amount of time. But no, call anytime, night or day. I can't hear that line when I'm asleep anyway, so you don't have to worry about waking anyone up.

It'll still be in a google cache somewhere, not to mention people that have QUOTED you will have it in their posts.... unless a small fee is paid....

Don Dokken is opening for Queensryche in San Francisco at the Fillmore on 2/28! I wonder if I am off......I'll have to check!

It's an acoustic thing with a guitarist, Kelly Keeling (hope I got that right). It's very laid back and casual. He plays for about 45 min. and does the Dokken hits. I missed the first few minutes, but I don't believe he does anything from his solo album(s).

Since I know you love a really good rock show, Kim (aka JSSB ), do stick around for Queensryche. They put on a fantastic show. Geoff Tate's voice is still incredible and their sound is fantastic. Very professional and polished. Oh, and Geoff's not bad to look at either.

The show sold out the Nokia Theatre in Manhattan this past Friday night. Even with a huge general-admission crowd like this, we NYers were so into the show, there weren't any problems in the audience that I could tell. In fact, my friend and I commented to each other about how extremely polite everyone was (no matter how scruffy and rowdy many of them looked).

Oh, Rip, didn't meet Don. The show was so packed with people that, when we found a great spot to watch the show, we didn't move all night. My friend is what you would call "vertically challenged".

Kelly Keeling is a cool guy. He tours as a vocalist with TSO in the fall/Cmas. Last summer he was on the road with TSO's Al Pitrelli & wife, Jane Mangini, for their R&B jazz act called O'2L (o'toole). Said that he'd worked with Dokken & Lynch before, so this doesn't surprise me. I bet it's good.

Btw, also said he knew JSS. In fact, imo, they are a lot a like.
