That's ok, man... You'll just have to stay home and dream about plucking Kip Winger's G string... :P

Two words:

1. We admitted we were powerless over pop — that our music had become unlistenable.
2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to rockitude.
3. Made a decision to turn our ears and our cash over to the care of Don Dokken as we understood Him.
4. Made a searching and fearless inventory of our CD collection.
5. Admitted to Don, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact contents of our collection.
6. Were entirely ready to have Don remove all these defects of judgment.
7. Humbly asked Him to remove any Bryan Adams discs, and also any Styx.
8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed by making them listen to soft rock, and became willing to make amends to them all.
9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
10. Continued to take our musical inventory and when we bought a Bryan Adams disc, promptly admitted it.
11. Sought through stalking and 'round the clock phone calls to improve our conscious contact with Don as we understood Him, begging only for knowledge of His Will for us and the power to carry that out.
12. Having had a musical awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry Don's message to popaholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

I like that one song by Dokken, but I have no interest in seeing them or QR in concert. :?

Ratgirl - enjoy the show! Be sure to tell us about it, and get your picture made with Don if you can! :P

Rick, you simply need to listen to more Dokken, and a good healthy dose of Queensryche is in order, too. :P

Hmmm, Geoff Tate... :::drool:::

Sorry, I'm still on a Queensryche high, (eh, hem) so to speak.

The only thing I'm not so hopped up on is hearing QR doing a large amount of covers... but it still should be a great show.

They only did about 2 or 3 covers, the rest was pure Queensryche! :D

Did I mention that Geoff looked great?

Well, rock on, then! I'm more excited now. Ya know, I don't make it a point to check out Geoff's looks... Rhiannon says she thinks I have a man-crush on Don, and I don't play the field... :P

Hee hee! Well, from a woman's point of view, Geoff smokes Don in the looks dept. Ummm... So does Jeff Pilson and George Lynch, for that matter. :P

Hey, a lady's gotta have something to look at, ya know.

Ok, I see what this is about... I think you smoked Don in NY and were too embarassed to share how quickly your resolve dissipated once you were in his presence. Geoff Tate is a great singer, but he kinda has that Nosferatu thing going on. If he ever ran into Kate Beckinsale, she'd probably try to stake him! :P

No we didnt meet anyone last night, we got there about 30mins before they opened the doors. We were under a tornado watch and the weather was pretty brutal going to the venue. We were front row center though, pretty killer.

Tonight we are going backstage so I'll make sure I keep my eyes peeled for him.

Awesome! My understanding is that he is selling/signing his solo CD "Solitary", so he should be around. Hope you get to meet him! Hey, don't fall victim to his charms... :P
