Just got a call from Ratgirl during the Dokken/Queensryche show... she let me listen to Don playing "Dream Warriors"... SWEET! DOKK ON!!!

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before that happens - I'm surprised he doesn't have you on speed dial already.

I wish I could have made it to a concert - hopefully he does a CD signing so you can get a copy!

Rip, did you ever wonder about this?

We have the same taste in music. Sure, we love the MR stuff, but the melodic metal is our forte.

So, what happens in 50 years when we're in the nursing home, and it's supper time (at 4:15 pm), and the 25-year-old nurse comes by to load us into the wheelchair, and after snapping a towel on her butt, tell her we're not going because we're listening to "Slide It In"?

And then the Metallica and Sepultura and Cannibal Corpse fans are telling us to "turn that shit down" from the next hall over because our music is "wussy"?

Just a thought.

Actually, I asked her if she could put me on the phone with him later -- it's a long shot, but they will be trying to meet the band, so if it works out...

Very sweet of her to consider me...

She just called again -- he's playing "Alone Again" now...
