Just thought I let you folks know that 72 hours ago, the wife delivered (naturally, no less!) a healthy, 9 lb baby girl!
We're still cooped up in the hospital due to some lingering health issues, but hope to go home tomorrow, Good Lord willin!

And would one of you gentlemen who are Father to a daughter yourself be kind enough to send me:

a) the "girl" manual
b) any information you have on joining the NRA

Congratulations!!! My best advise is to remember that a little girls Daddy is the most important person in the world to her. If you tell that little girl she can be anything she wants to be she will believe it. If you tell her every day what a wonderful little person she is, she will have self esteem. If you treat her with respect and integrity she will learn to expect that from all men. Then when she is grown up she will look for a man just like her Daddy and she won't settle for a man that treats her any other way.

As for raising my daughter, I just pretended she was a dude. Sports 24/7. She played hockey, softball and basketball.
