Deja Vu for me. Saint Louis got cancelled back on October 28th and they rescheduled it five months later on March 30th. I've had this weird feeling that the March date will be a no-go also.

I don't remember seeing this happen to any other bands I've seen in recent years, so there is definitely room to assume the worst. Alcoholism, addiction, and dysfunction go hand-in-hand.

Anybody wanna buy some Saint Louis tickets for cheap?

That would be incredible. Get MA back and put Jeff out front. Damn that would be a great lineup. And if they can't get MA, then Gary Schutt! :D

Why does everyone on this board want Jeff to be in every band except his own? Why can't Jeff just stay in a solo artist and rule the day?

Good Point...
But we all want to see Jeff in a position where he will
get the exposure/acclaim he has deserved for so long.
Hence the popular comments of him fronting other well-known and successful bands.

Here's a thought...
Looks like Velvet Revolver is done...
Mad Mike is just having fun w/ Sammy these days...
Virgil Donati is a fucking octopus behind the kit...

Wouldn't it be wild for a new supergroup to form:
Soto, Slash, Mad Mike and Donati...
THAT line-up could open up some eyes 8)

I have a musician friend who supposedly has a Van Halen source. He was right on (albeit after Andrew speculated on it via his source) about the Dave reunion and Eddie's rehab.

Anyway, apparently the tour and reunion is off. There is some serious in-fighting going on and Eddie's pissing off the wagon again.

So...it may be over. Glad I saw the show.

Yep..just got the annoucement from Tickermaster that the Feb 25th show in Atlanta is "postponed"

Believe it or not, as I am in my 50's, but this is the first concert that ever got "postponed" on me. (a few cancelled but none postponed before)

I am assuming that IF they re-schedule, and IF it is in the same arena, that I would have the same seats.

I think it was Belar that stated something about them rescheduling 5 months later. Man, I can't plan that long in advance.

Any ideas how long it will take from them to annouce the re-schedule date (assuming that the problem is only a minor one ) ?

To be honest, at this point I don't care if I see it or not. I may take a refund and apply it towards Journey tickets.

Dude, a friend of mine here BEGGED me to go, because I wasn't planning on doing it. We got tickets 2 days before the show -- the cheap seats for $40 or something like that. I was extremely glad I did it -- the show was outstanding, and surely one of the best on the tour.

You got lucky. I heard there were some really good shows on this tour - and some really bad ones.

I heard that the concert promoters made Eddie sign a contract that he would have to take piss tests before every show, and that they would cancel shows if they tested positive.

Now I have a good idea why Saint Louis got cancelled. Eddie probably got wasted when he realized he would be playing Sammy-town in a few days.
