How's Clooney always get nominated? He's the same character in every movie. I've yet to be impressed by him in anything.

That had to have been one of the more boring Oscar shows in a long time. Jon Stewart was not funny. The writers strike DEFINITELY hurt this. Oh well....

I hear that... could have gone the way of the Golden Globes. And I won't kid myself either, if I could go personally I would, and I'd be a happy camper. But comparing it to other shows... it fell short.

I thought the musical performances from August Rush and Once were pretty amazing.

My highlight of the night was Busey on the red carpet having everybody within a 25 yard radius casting nervous glances around.

I saw that too. And did you see Jennifer Garners reaction to being kissed on the neck by him. Guess he was up to some of his old.....shall we say tricks?

Laura Linney was clearly disquieted by it and quickly became Garner's bodyguard terminating the interview and whisking her away.

Tilda Swinton, on the other hand, - usually a fave of mine - looked bad...severely pasty. And that black rag she had on only intensified her ghostliness.
Not that I really care about all this shallow E! channel type stuff, mind you.

That was great. Can't blame Busey, Jen was looking suhweet.
Ryan's stupid, could've had a hilarious interview with Busey. Here's a clip.
