I just saw this on Kimmel tonight and just now finished e-mailing it to a bunch of my friends. 8)

I laughed so hard my sides hurt!

Don't know if this was posted already but in case it hasn't, here's the Sarah Silverman video that started it all;

Good marketing on their parts. These vids will go viral for sure. Kimmel needs to do something, his show sucks.

I agree. I emailed Jennifer Aniston about recording a "fuck" tape of me and her to get back at Brad Pitt for leaving her for that skank, Angelina Jolie. No reply so far.

Jimmy Kimmel comes on at midnight. Its within the realm of late night TV, which for a long time has been doing stuff like this. Its no different that the other late night talk shows, Saturday Night Live, Benny Hill, and those things go way far back.

However, understandably, some people don't enjoy that kind of humor. Which is fine.
That's what the 'off' button and the other channel buttons are for.

I'll provide the counter-argument instead of waiting for it to arise...
"But it's all over the intrenet now on sites like YouTube where children can see it anytime..."

Yep. Totally true. That's where a little thing called "parenting" comes in.
Just as one would monitor what they watch on TV, same with the internet.
Everything comes with parental controls now. And probably not enough people use them.

I wrote ya back a longer post but critical error interrupted,
so let me just say that a great majority of parents don't do the right thing, sadly.
and yes, I'm more than familiar with Jimmy Kimmel

Agreed in full. But they're usually the first ones to gripe about it. My mother let me watch things that, looking back, I can't believe, just because of not paying attention to what it was - but she's the first person to bitch about what should and shouldn't be allowed on TV. The problem is that the rest of the world isn't responsible for what a kids sees. Its all to easy to blame TV, radio, etc. Too many people expect the world to just change for them just because they don't like something or because their kid might see it.

I think we have a civil duty to protect young minds from a lot of things, not everything can be out there for
them to stumble upon. We know the world won't change for us, but to generate garbage
and to call it "art" is unconscionable. We aren't the rest of the world, we're Americans and there used
to be more standards. I don't like Ben Affleck, Brad Pitt or Jimmy Kimmel's period, I think they
are pompous asses. People have every right to whatever they want to do these days it seems, doesn't float
my boat.

Not all children have parents much less ones who care what their kids watch.

Just like TV and Radio, your computer has an "on/off switch", a switch/dial to change channels
and there are 10-bazillion otherthings on Youtube for you to watch if this offends you.
You may think they are all pompous asses and that may be the real reason you didn't like this
skit. But there is nothing wrong with it morally.

Besides, if kids are gonna surf the net, especially without parental guidance, they
are gonna be looking at stff FAR WORSE than a hiarious skit like this

and that is YOUR opinion, I do find it offensive and its getting huge media coverage=there will
always be something worse out there for anyone to see Carl, you think its funny and I don't.
2 men talking about f"ing one another is not humorous to me. I'm glad you liked it though. :D

Hilarious...
what is with people being offended by comedy???
We live in such a happy world.
F*** is just a word. The words are bleeped.

Not everything in the world is for kids and not everything needs to be sanitized for them.
This is so funny.

America is too fucking easily offended. If you're offended, turn off the TV, or go watch SpongeBob.

What I can't understand is why it's bleeped. It's just a word. You'd think we'd have come a long ways from the days of the puritans, but I guess not.

Walrus, you're my new hero! Goo Goo GaJoob!
Yeah F*ck offends Americans, but having a dope in the White House is perfectly fine with us... Talk about offensive.

So now you're a "Homo-Phobe"???

Actually, the "2 men fucking" thing wasn't the funniest part of the skit...
Seeing/hearing Josh Groban singing along to this song and the fact
that HAN SOLO made an appearance was the icing on the cake for me

I didn't take offense to it but, in my opinion, people aren't offended enough at some things. Being offended means you also care. Not enough people care enough about some things.
