Seemed honest, fair and accurate. That's all you can ask for.

It was also very cool of Kevin Elson to get into specifics about why the last show was canceled.

A good start - We'll see what the next six months brings. Hopefully Arnel can sound as good on the rockers like Stone in Love as he does on the ballads. If he can he'll win over alot more of the rockers in the fan base.

I agree. I also think that given enough time and repetition that he
will be able to win over most of the people you speak of.

Yeah, Andrew. I think you pretty much covered it all. If the Journey guys themselves read your review, I think they would have to nod their heads.

They do read here.
Sea changes were made, for better or worse, to the Generations tour setlist when the first 2 nights reviews detonated here.
Arrival dropped a ballad and added 2 rockers based mostly on feedback from MR.com and Jrnymusic.com.

One thing that's got to cease, from what I saw of the clips Andrew posted on the front page, is the seeming forced overuse of vocal "perryisms."
Not every short "a" IE: boulevaaaaaaaaad, open aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaams HAS to have the perryism.
He's just got to let his natural perryesque singing tumble out.
See Augeri, and make no mistake I love the guy, though he sounded pretty perryesque did not have the ability to finnesse all that vocal aerobics and gimmickery that perry did and arnel is trying to prove he can do so we had more workmanlike renditions, but absent of goofy parody-like histrionics.
