Hi been off for a while, been very ill, and have had to resume my treatment. So hopefully things will pick up...so been researching my family history to keep the old cogs turning the grey matter over ;)..not bad though i found some pretty cool stuff out! :)
Oh I also celebrated my birthday..oh dear another year less to the front and a bit more to the rear!! ( erm years that is!!!! for any cheeky charlies who were thinking otherwise)...
Also was rudely awoken this morning by an Earthquake...I hit my head on the bedstead the room was shaking so much...Dam thing disturbed my first nights sleep for a while...inconsiderate earth ;)!!

I just noticed the debate rages on and you are still making me smile when I read the posts :D

That was some quake this morning! Didn't quite feel it where I live in Gloucestershire, though

Hey Lenny! Glad to see that you are okay from the quake. I sure hope that you feel better.

That's cool that you are taking the time to research your family history, hang on to that for the next gen!

Happy belated Birthday!! :D

Wendy, aren't we about due for one? It's been 6 months since we had one we could feel.

We get loads of tiny quakes that no one ever notices here, but by British standards that was a larger one. we fully understand that they are nothing in comparison to other felt around various parts of the world. in fact the last time an earthquake had its epicentre in Linconlshire , of this magnitude was in 1775.
We only get one like this every 20 or thirty years and they aren't specific to any area. The geographical survey find it interesting because we are not on or near any fault lines, so they are still trying to find why we do get them.

I have got back to 1540 with my family so far :)
