If anyone out there drinks Pepsi products (Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, etc.), I'm collecting the codes under the caps for my wife. If you feel like taking a minute to PM me any codes you come across, we would both really appreciate it.
Thanks. We now return to your regularly scheduled Journey discussion.

i tried pepsi, but i just don't get it - doesn't move my soul. i loved the original coke. classic "legacy" coke is ok - not as good as the original coke, but certainly better than pepsi. does anyone have any conspiracy theories about cola? maybe i should start a blog.

Cans are so 1990s.

But quite a bit cheaper than bottle.

But you get more fizzy goodness in a bottle.

Poonie, I think you might be off a little with Coke?
IIRC, Original Coke, we will call it Coke was on the shelves and then they had that genius marketing ploy, and introduced New Coke. That was perhaps the greatest marketing ever. New Coke was more light, a little like Pepsi. The fans didn't really dig it...remember they had polls pitting each Coke against each other? Well, once it was decided "Coke" or Original Coke was better, they discontinued New Coke, and renamed Original Coke "Coca Cola Classic." I do not believe Original Coke and Classic are different. In fact, only 3 people in the world know of Coke's ingredients, and the formula's are now all in safe's. Last year, a Coke employee somehow got the ingredients and was caught trying to sell them to Pepsi for 50 million dollars.

There was one other little detail that may have fueled all of the Coke/New Coke drama. The original Coke was made with sugar, and Coke classic is now made with corn syrup. I think they did it all to change the recipe from sugar to corn syrup, saving tons of money and making look like a formula/direction change.

i believe rick's theory. they invented icky "new" coke to create a crisis, then they switched to "classic" coke to save the day. i believe the goal was to save money by replacing sugar with high-fructose corn syrup. it doesn't taste as good & it's way worse for your health. check out this info from
mayo.
r13jp, what the heck are you typing about?

LOL, I don't think RedJoe even knows what he is typing about. Fucker is lost in the fog.
Another Coke tidbit.
The second most recognized word in the entire world is "Coke", right behind "Hello."

Scorsese's new Stones rockumentary, Shine A Light drops worldwide in April.
It was filmed at those Halloween Beacon shows in NYC and I was asking if you might show up in the movie

Yea, THAT band, the one that deemed Journey WORTHY as a touring partner (The Glimmer Twins have repeatedly held that they exhaustively handpick the bands they roll on the road with amongst only the best established bands or the bands they feel have the most potential).
