BA sucks ass as bad as the Boss. Stewart is a legend.

LOL.

Yeah dude, Stewart blows away the biggest star ever in Rock n Roll. I can only hope you're joking.

Biggest star ever? Man, pass that this way and quit bogarting.

I forgot to say "arguably" but yeah, I will put Bruce Springsteen up there with The Stones, Zeppelin and Elvis. He is not out of place with that group, and oh yeah, he is still conquering the tour circuit. You cannot tell me there is a bigger act out there now than The E Street Band. You just can't.

I like Bryan Adams and all, but there is no way he should be or ever will be above the talent or legend of Rod Stewart! It's an interesting pairing though, and should be a good concert.

Actually Angie, I believe if you asked people in the know, in the business, a clear majority would tell you Adams is far more talented than Stewart. Can play every instrument and can write a better song. Just facts.

I believe BA is happy opening for him, because he realizes Stewart is close to retirement maybe and they are friends. He is perhaps paying respects to his (RS) legacy.

Doesn't matter Dean.

Akay's right. There is NO getting around the FACT that Stewart's a legend and as such able to have an Adams as opening act.

Hey, I don't like the oldies route he took, either but you look at albums like Blondes Have More Fun, Atlantic Crossing, Out Of Order, A Spanner In The Works (both of which have Andy Taylor on guitars), Tonight I'm Yours, Vagabond Heart the dude has a monstorously quality body of work.

I've had the pleasure of seeing Bryan Adams a couple of times: first, when he opened for Journey years ago (Frontiers tour?), then when he was out with the Lepps a few years back.

First went to a Rod Stewart concert on my 30th birthday, after interviewing a local guitarist named Stevie Salas who Stewart had hand-picked to be in his band for the tour. A bunch of my friends arranged a limo for the night, and after the show we were able to get backstage and meet the man himself. Made the Big 3-0 pretty memorable.

His concert in-the-round here last March was phenomenal.

To the point: BA is a great meat-and-potatoes rocker, and Rod Stewart is an indisputable icon.

Two facts that need not be mutually exclusive. No point in arguing this...

;^)

Makes me think that Rod is kinda like when I saw The Who, Stevie Ray Vaughan, or Robert Plant. I though, "Now I get it................"

Saw Bryan at the TEXXAS JAM in '83, good times.

And I would believe you call that subjectiveness and personal opinion. Experts can't just TELL you who is better and who isn't. Apples and oranges in most cases. Except Springsteen. He sucks.

You like Adams better than Stewart, I don't. Matter of opinion.

Stewart's a legend- but he's singing friggin' Tony Bennett. Gimme a break, what, am I 80? (Btw, I'm SICK of people trying to tell me how cool Tony Bennett is...)

The Boss? Can't stand him.

BAdams- is cool and it'd be nice if he could headline his own tour.

SPEAKING OF BA- Did anybody ever see that deal with BAdams and BSetzer's Orchestra? That was one of the oddest pairings I'd ever seen and it completely wailed! I'd love to get that on DVD. Great show.
