If Obama gets a white older male running mate that's not whacko, Mcain will lose.

I like McCain, but he is no mental match for Obama. I can't wait for the debates, lol.

Barring some bombshell that smooth talking Obama can’t talk his way out of, and with momentum and brainpower on his side and the truly idiotic rightwing nut jobs on McCain's side (even as they hate McCain, they are at their out-of-touch racist best), I truly think Obama will crush McCain.

Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania. Perfect match.

Dude, Orin Hatch is a close minded sonofabitch from Utah and he he is a pro life hardcore republican. No candidate would ever tap that fuck to to run for VP.

Rendell is:
White
And his Geography- Gov of Pennsyvania, close to Michigan, Ohio..states they all need.

well respected.

and, hey, I'm just reporting the rumor - and it was Chuck Hagel, actually. Freudian slip, I guess (All those Republicans look the same )
They have worked together on the few things actually on Obama’s record.
And Hagel has railed against the Iraq war, as well. (I think he was the first R to do so.)
And their relationship is probably why Obama did so well in Nebraska and the area.

I actually like Rendell and voted for him twice. Good man. Fights for my state, and is actually looking at ways to CUT taxes here in PA.

Hmmm... Never heard of him. I'll have to check him out. Makes more sense that he'd pick a Dem, but it could be pretty interesting if he really did pick Chuck Hagel. (Though having a Rep VP might make things even more dangerous for Obama...
Lol, and having Hillary as VP might just keep him safe!! )

Hagel is a good guy, but being from Nebraska will be of no help, as that state is red as Manarock's asshole after 4 or 5 Jalapeno Burgers. Obama needs a Rust Belt/steel belt state ala Pennslvania, Ohio (Jon Glenn perhaps), or maybe, he might tap Edwards.

Hell, Bill Richardson is a nice look as he is an intelligent guy, Hispanic and can carry New Mexico and maybe Colorado, both swing states.

come november its going to be very interesting to see what happens.the main thing mccain has going against him in my opinion is his age.some voters may shy away from him due to this.the man would probably be the one of the oldest to ever take office if he won.obama would have inexperience and maybe race could play into this as well.going to be one of the more stranger elections we've had before the final votes are counted.think its going to be close or a landslide for the victor?

McCain wins, he'll finally get his chance, for better or worse. Obama is the future.

If McCain wins, the same old bitching will continue and Demos will continue to win Congressional elections throughout his term. If Obama wins, the people will see that it's the same-old same-old except in a different package and will start re-electing more Repubs.

Obama sadly.

Our country (especially the youth) are WAY TOO IGNORANT not to be taken in by his empty "promise of change".

Where's the beef?
