hey ,when you saw Ringo and his Allstar Band did you you see Gary Booker {from Procul Harem }do Whiter Shade Of Pale ?? i got a you tube clip and he sounded great.brywool wrote:HOLY CRAP- There are so many to list, I can't remember them all- I suck at dates too... All in Seattle or in Washington
First concert-
David Cassidy- 1973?- I kid you not! My mom worked for a paper and got tickets for my older sister and I. I never heard so much shrieking in my life! It must've been good as Brett Michaels ripped off David's every move and style.
Wings 1976- Kingdome- I was 13! ROCKED.
McCartney- 1990, Driving Rain Tour, US tour (I can't remember the years, only the albums out then)
Styx- Grand Illusion, Pieces of 8, Cornerstone, Paradise Theatre (2 shows), Edge of the Century Return to Paradise, Gi20th anniv, Brave New World, One more after that
Cheap Trick- All Shook Up, One On One, Standing on the Edge, Lap of Luxury, Cheap Trick 97, Special One
Journey- Departure, Escape, Frontiers (2 shows), Raised on Radio, Arrival
(missed Perry's solo tour- had a gig)
Sammy Hagar- Standing Hampton, Street Machine, Danger Zone (I think Schon joined him on stage), one a few years ago with the Waboritas
Van Halen- Diver Down- Ah, wasted Dave.
Heart- Bebe LeStrange, Bad Animals- NO chick can sing like Ann Wilson. She's the queen of rock as far as I'm concerned.
Ringo's All Starr Band- three times in different years
Goo Goo Dolls- Dizzy up the Girl, Gutterflower, Let Love In
Bon Jovi- New Jersey, Bounce (Bon Jovi sucks as a front guy)
Fastball- Best live drum sound
Dan Reed Network- Club in Seattle- ROCKED
Starship- Mickey Thomas, great. Grace Slick- sucked.
Outfield (Twice)- Hated their drum sound. Good songs though.
Brian Adams- Cuts Like a Knife, Reckless - great shows.
Babys- Union Jacks (Still a great record)
Poison (??)- My wife liked them, what was I to do? Seems like Warrant was supposed to be there but they fought with Poison before the show and canceled. I think Dokken was there. Don't remember.
Aerosmith- Pumped, Get a Grip, 9 lives- great shows.
Elton John- solo piano tour. What a creep. I felt like I was watching a diet coke commercial. he'd keep stopping and taking a drink of the diet coke and making sure the label was facing out to the audience. You could tell he didn't want to be there.
Billy Joel- Was never a fan, then I saw him. He was good- River of Dreams
Something Corporate- Took my daughter, got hooked on the band.
Green Day (Twice)- One of the best shows ever. Great performers. Really Fun band.
Presidents of the USA- Hilarious!
Oasis- Love their music, but they were not happy to be there (wonderwall tour)
Def Leppard- Hysteria (three shows)- I don't remember if these were all from the same tour, I think so. Once I was behind them, once they were in the round, and another time I was in front.
Chicago - BORING, when You're the Inspiration was out. How I got talked into that, I'll never know... Such a boring band. Um, in rock, there are no trombone solos.
Paul Rodgers and Bad Company- (This was reunion tour with Journey or Styx, can't remember... Gorge)
Billy Squire- HORRIBLE front guy
Foreigner- 4 and then the one they did with Journey
Police- synchronicity tour
Al Stewart
Pink Floyd -Kingdome when Waters wasn't there
Damn Yankees- twice, both amazingly good shows
Night Ranger- 7 wishes tour- good show.
REO Speedwagon- Hi Infidelity- the only concert I ever left early. Boring.
Genesis- Invisible Touch
Fleetwood Mac- reunion. Another boring one- Stevie Nick's stage presents consists of playing with her dress
Rolling Stones- Not the last tour, but the one before that- Decent, but McCartney blew them away.
Loverboy (twice- Opened for them the last time)
Rod Stewart- Infatuation tour- 45 minutes late
Rush- Moving Pictures- great show
CSN- yawn...
Boston- Don't Look Back, Walk On
U2- Vertigo (EXCELLENT show)
Richard Marx
Monkees- 86
Jimmy Eat World
Duran Duran- Astronaut tour
The Who- Who Are You (after Keith died)
Huey Lewis- Sports (Great singers)
Beatlemania
Rain
Bad English
Indigo Girls (twice- and I'm NOT gay- just like them)
Chuck Berry- I watched him kick Heart's bass player off the stage!
Little Richard- Came on, kicked ass... then proceded to do a strip tease on his piano. Really weird!
Neal Finn- Great show
Keanne- Loved these guys
The Format- Great unknown band
The Coasters- don't even remember this
There're probably more, but I'm too old....

Yeah I did. It was very cool. That's a great song. I might be mixing my all starr bands, but Mark Farner from Grand Funk also kicked major A$$ on that tour.
