So I got to talkin' to Deano via cell phone and was told that JT threatened to have security toss Deano because JT hasn't gotten over the Augeri tapegate show.

Didn't get a chance to rock with Deano but man...that guy can speedblast a story in 2 minutes.

yup, i've been there too. Jeff gave me 7 tickets and meet and greets for New Orleans and JT decided that we couldn't come in.

me and the chicas--- standing there at the door with only a policeman ( with a gun!!) standing between me and the table that he had them "protected" behind. (like he's gonna keep me from giving them their hugs. Ross -YOU BABY!! why didn't you show! hehe)

We were told in Charlotte, as we were leaving the 5* pre-party, that HE was the reason we couldn't take our cameras in. HE didn't want photos taken. But of course everyone else and their fucking brother had a camera. ASSHOLE!

Yeah, Deano DID get in. I pulled him in line with me so that he wouldn't have to go all the way to the back of the line. He said he would stay only for a few songs and then leave because his wife and son weren't there with him. Seemed to have his priorities straight. Real nice guy. Saw him inside about half way through the show, but then he disappeared. Don't know if he stayed 'til the end.

I looked down at this Keebler Elf, and said, "I don't know." He then says back matter of factly, "if you do, I will have you kicked out." Then I got enraged, and stuck my my middle finger right smack up against his forehead and said loudly, "Fuck you! What's your problem?" He says "You are a troublemaker for this band." I laughed out loud at that. Really had no idea I was such a thorn in Journey's side. Keep in mind, all this is happening at the entrance of a nice restaurant in a nice casino. Lula got bent and walked away, and Elf kept his pie hole running. He wouldn't shut up. St John walks up to him about 5 mins later and says, "Dude, that was highly unprofessional" to which Toomey replied loudly, "Fuck you!"

Memo to Journey Mgt. You really want your road manager roving casino hotels and restaurants threatening customers and fans who drove hundreds and thousands miles to see YOUR band?

PS- JT, your own band hates your ass. Next time, when we meet, shut your fucking mouth and there will be NO problems. And there will be a next time. See you in California asshole.

I'm sure it's not a matter of "Like". He's probably just very efficient and talented at what he does, so he's still around. I'm sure it takes a long time to put together an efficient and reliable road crew. They probably didn't care for Herbert too much either, but he did a lot for the band (more than anyone else outside of the actual band).

It still doesn't make it right though, and the band (Or management) need to put a foot in this guys ass and straighten him out!

Geeze, you'd think with all the crap that has gone down with this band over the last two years and with a NEW front man, they'd be all over being cool to the fans. They were when Augeri was brought on.

I missed Tapegate totally - had no clue, always sat close enough to hear how hard Augeri was struggling, but man Dean, you must have hit a major nerve back then! Good for you! When did this JT enter the picture? Never even heard of him until I came to this board.

What a jerk. The band needs to set this guy straight. And damn, am I sorry I missed it! I'm just sorry you were put in that position. Sounds like you handled yourself well.
