If you didn't know, Last FM is a site that provides a plug-in for your media player. It tallies the songs you listen to and charts them for you and others to view, by artist and by song. The site provides recommendations based on what you listen to, and what other fans of the same artist enjoy. Every artist has their own page for you to go onto and check out 30 second samples, as well as full songs too, and talk to other fans/haters.

The site also provides various free internet radio stations based on artists, tags, and so on.

I love this place... through Last FM is how I discovered Dream Theater, Yes, and Triumph.

Have a look, and if you want, dig through my charts and make fun of me for what I do and don't listen to.

Yeah, my overall charts are a bit misleading of my recent taste, but representative of what kind of musical listener I've been for the past three years as a whole.

I just started using it again but it would be interesting to see my charts. Of course, I usually set Winamp to play randomly through a list of about 3500 tunes, so I probably don't have very many tracks that get played that often.

Damn straight they are! I only discovered them a few months ago and they're already one of my favorites. AMAZING band..
