I will listen once or maybe twice and then probably not again. The rerecording to me seems too novelty-ish. I dont see why people care so much. The original versions will never be mistaken for them if the listeners have a clue. I am sure Arnel will do them justice, but to compare them to Perrys original flavor is silly. Radio stations surely wont throw away their classic versions for these. IMO it makes Journey look a little silly for the cash grab.
It doesnt bother me one bit though. Journey can do whatever they want with THEIR songs. All that legacy BS isnt really worth getting pissed about.

Can you add "Listen once or twice and forget it exists?"

The track listing completely caught me off guard -- I was fully expecting a re-recorded "Dirty Dozen". Wasn't really too interested in that, anyway. This will be interesting!

Skeet shooting. I've never used a shotgun before, but I'm pretty sure I could hit a duck that big.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives

Where did he get his info on the tracks? Just curious. I'd like these a lot more than the dirty dozen for sure. There's some kick-ass songs listed there!

It was in another thread, and had NONE of the hits (at least that I can recall). Larry posted it.

I'll listen to it... when it hits YouTube.... probably at least once or twice. Then I'll get my old Jouney classic CDs out and wash my ears with them.

I'll definitely give the new original material a listen. But if I'm required to buy the re-recorded classics to get it, I can't see myself doing it. Call me stubborn or whatever. I'll pay to see them in concert for sure but I can't see being part of trying to erase Perry's legacy. I couldn't even get onboard when Eddie Van Halen wanted to blackout Michael Anthony's picture from Van Halen's album covers - let alone this. It's against my religion.

That's one of the Top Cats here in Charlotte. That's the Carolina Panthers, for all you women out there...and Matthew (just messin', dude).

If I'm not mistaken, that's Laura M. I won't publish her last name.

She works out at my gym. I've never spoken to her.

Eh. I couldn't care less about a woman's body. Seriously. It's all about the face and the eyes...an aqualine nose...but most of all the eyes. Susanna Hoffs, for instance.

Eh. I was a lead singer in a number of bands over the years. In spite of my mediocre looks and huge nose, I still managed to date some good-looking women. It must have been the spandex Diamond Dave fire pants.

Anyway...my experience...women like that are ridiculously high-maintenance. My ex-wife...case in point.

I'm no Fabio but I've pulled some above-average tail myself. It's not the spandex pants here, but maybe it's because I keep it real? No clue, but I'm proud of myself, haha.

I can't stand high-maintenance women. I like women that take care of themselves, but not to the extremes that some of these ladies take it.
