What ScaryGirl wrote above got me thinking (from the fave album thread) .
Could Perry be inducted as a solo artist bypassing Journey altogether?

They wouldn't be eligible. Neal wasn't allowed to be inducted with Santana. Perry and Rollie would be the only singers allowed in, guaranteed.

Neal COULD have gotten in with Santana. However, Carlos is an over-rated jealous bastard, and he held a grudge against Neal because it got out that NS had written and performed a lot of the solos for which Santana was erroneously given credit.

Fleischman, Rolie, Perry, Augeri, JSS, Pineda
I think six, that'd be pretty funny. Would be a cool picture though.

Are you saying he grabbed Arnel?

Journey should be in, with:
Rolie
Schon
Tickner
Prince
Dunbar
Valory
Perry
Cain
Smitty
Augeri
Castronovo

Why the hell should Augeri and Castronovo even be mentioned in the same sentence with Journey and the Rock and Roll HOF? Because of "Arrival"? Please tell me one thing that makes either guy worthy of such an honor! If Journey were ever to be inducted, it would be Perry, Cain, Schon, Valory, Smith, and Rolie! Nobody else on that list gets in!
