I saw speculation in another thread on the tracklist for the Upcoming "Greatest Hits Redone" portion of Revelation.
Does anybody know the final track list? Has it been confirmed yet? Andrew?
Though I kinda like Larry FND's list! That would really be the way to go!

I don't think there is going to be much mystery what the tracks are going to be. Take a look at the tracks on their "Greatest Hits" CD, and I suspect that you'll see most of those same tracks on the re-tread!

There are countless covers of great rock tunes out there, so I don't see the problem with Journey redoing their songs with a new singer. What is the point of putting these songs in a vault like they are original copies of the Constitution? They are rock songs meant to be enjoyed not perserved! Journey are much better musicians today and recording technology is better than it was when these songs were first recorded. I am always interested in new versions of Journey songs. I like Chalfant's Fly to Freedom CD and I liked the way Jorn covered Edge of the Blade, etc., etc. I also thought JSS did a great job of covering Journey as a solo act. I have heard smooth jazz versions of Journey songs for God's sake. Freshening up the sound will be cool. For that matter, I would like to hear VH re-record some of their early songs if for not other reason than I think we could get better quality sound with todays technology. Some of the Toto recordings from the 80's would do well to be re-recorded too. All these guys make great music, so lets treat ourselves to quality recordings.
