Hey guys,

Kinda curious for your take on my friend Chris's band. He started off as a progressive acoustic side project but he's since converted to making the kinda music he's making now. I guess it kinda sounds like modern day power pop like The Killers in a way, pretty synth driven, lots of chorus hooks. I kinda liked his old direction better, but I can't deny he's writing some decent hooks.

If you're bored, check out http://www.myspace.com/lunavelis

"Mr. Hyde" and "The Burden" are pretty catchy. I should add he produces and plays every instrument on the album, which is pretty impressive. Check it out, curious to see what you guys think. It's not exactly the MR type of stuff we talk about on here, but oh well. Just curious to see if the kid has any appeal, he's trying to "make it" pretty seriously.

The music does sound like The Killers but the vocalist delivery reminds me of 80's new wave. Could just be me though.
