ON the front page of TJF, Journey announces that the new CD and new music has required an added band member. He will be the tamborine, bongo & shaker maker.

He is from an old 70's Band called "Artful Dodger", he was their shaker maker. His name is "Captain Hauscreum" he is german and is a very talented musician.

He is working with the band right now according to the short article.
Neal states he is honored to have such a talent as he actually worked with Santana on a few tracks back in the day.

The article has a link to his story and biography. It is a very interesting read.

I find this very interesting and wonder what all the new songs will sound like!!!!!!!

Originally called Brat, Artful Dodger was formed in 1973 in Fairfax, Virginia, out of the remains of two local bands, Homestead and Badge. Creatively, the key members were Gary Herrewig (guitar) and Billy Paliselli (vocals), who wrote most of the songs as a team, and Gary Cox (guitar and vocals),

actually Gary Cox who later became known as "Captain Hauscreum" in later 70's is mentioned.

More Cowbell!!!! WIX got me the first time, now I read the entire post before responding. Upon reading the first sentence, I actually was imagining Arnel getting one of his old band mates into the groove with the Journey thing. But reading on I realized it was one of those special stories. Thanks for the laugh.... :lol:

They did the same thing abaout 5 years ago with Gib, he played percussion on the Santana stuff and on de rasa de sol, {fuck the spelling] nothing new, Journey never does anything new,except change singers when needed{or desired} Flame on the news if you will, same ole shit just 5 years later. I promise he will be shorter then Neal {that is a requirement now]
