Since the other thread about Steve A. has unfortunately taken an ugly turn :( I'm posting this one here. 8)

This post was inspired by;

She is just happy she doesn't have to compete with the Wiggle Whack Jobs any longer! She also asked that I refrain from wearing my red leather pants, and her white blouse in public, any longer

 Beware the wigglers! Some of them migrated over here!!!!!! :D :D :D

And would you be referring to this white blouse?

[quote="roycap"]If Andrew ever gets the chance to interview Steve A., here are some questions I'd like to answers too: [quote]

I'll save Andrew AND Sara some time. Here's the faux interview again :D

1) Whose idea was it to use tapes instead of live vocals?

Neal's

2) How long did this charade last?

3 years

3) Did you feel pressured into this or were you on board with it from the beginning?

Pressured.

4) Did you ever ask the group to take some time off to recuperate? Their response?

Yes... No

5) When JSS took over, did you really feel it was an interim solution and that you would eventually be back once recovered?

Of course not.

6) Who in the band were you closest too and do you still have contact with anyone associated with the group?

They're all my brothers. Especially Deen.
No contact, we're not a close family.

7) When they unceremoniously dumped JSS, did you ever reach out to him?

Yes, he's a cool guy and I hoped only the best for him.

8) Have you listened to any of the Arnel show tapes? Thoughts?

Yes, he's good.

9) Will you sing Journey songs in the future as you tour?

Only what I wrote.

10) How did your wife react to the fiasco?

Hell has no fury like a woman scorned. She said, no money, no honey.

Steve A. - I look forward to hearing from you soon. You have more fans than you know.

That's great to hear. I appreciate it.

It's just the fact that he has so many ladies fawning over him. The last lady I had that fawned over me, looked like a Volkswagen.

Great line, dude! Augeri definitely has his lady followers. I guess some chicks just dig the androgenous look  The funny thing is most of Augeri's fans probably outweigh the dude by 50lbs  I actually personally like Augeri. I think the guy is VERY difficult not to like. I thought he always came across as VERY respectful of the Journey legacy, in my opinion. He also struck me as a VERY humble human being. That said, the guy just didn't have the pipes for this catalog, and I feel badly that it did his voice in!

U ought to be ashamed to even mention the guys names with the way you fucked him and ruined his life......Without your interfearence, he may still have made it through the tour and gotten the break that he needed. Or maybe something else could have been worked out, but you just "HAD" to expose him.... But you had to keep pounding him. I still doubt after all the "trouble" that u caused in the band, u should not even be allowed to talk about them....That and the supposed letter he sent you. Ha,Ha, Ha, Ha,Ha....Now That's priceless......

Actually Steve did email Deano when his son passed away. The Augeri family is intimately familiar with death and how traumatic it can be. Him and his wife wanted to pass along their thoughts of sympathy to Dean and Lula at that time. At the time, those feelings apparently mattered much more to the Augeris than what Dean said about Steve on any internet forums.

I have always admired the Augeris ability to rise above meanness and hatred to that which is most important in life. We could all learn a lesson from them. Including me!

Augeri and the other guys in Journey ruined it by their own actions. They have no one to blame but themselves for deceiving the audience.

I doubt Augeri's life is "ruined."

Do you have anything better to do than bump around these forums, attacking Deano whenever possible and slaying innocent bystanders with your reprehensible grammar?

Go yank Big Ben's crank or something. Damn.

I'm a leader in everything else I do in my life, having a reputation as a "follower" on an internet forum isn't going to depress me one bit. Believe me, if I KNEW anything important about the business, I'd be more of a "leader" on here. But, alas, as somebody born 20 years too late and 2,000 miles away from the scene, there's not anything I can do other than observe, debate, enjoy, and have some fun.

I call the shots as I see 'em, if there's evidence pointing towards something, I'll believe in that. I have no reason NOT to believe what Dean has said all along, whether it's Journey-related or whatever. The minute Dean screws something up and it's obvious, I'll call those shots fairly too. But as it stands right now, your piping in about Augeri's letter (which is quite frankly, none of YOUR business or mine, either) every chance you can get, in all kinds of ways.... is getting old really fast.

Dude...your hatred toward Dean is OUT OF CONTROL! Accusing Dean, or anyone else, for ruining Steve Augeri's life for deceiving their fans is FUCKING ABSURD! I certainly don't blame Steve Augeri, alone. I blame the entire band, as they were all equally culpable, in my opinion!

Soto All The Way wrote: Without your interfearence, he may still have made it through the tour and gotten the break that he needed.

Gotten the break he needed? Are you fucking serious???? What "break" is it that Steve Augeri didn't get that you felt he was entitled to? He performed as Journey's front man for almost 10 years, and simply wasn't physically able to do it any longer! The world owes Steve Augeri absolutely nothing! I've NEVER read a single bad word about Steve Augeri, ANYWHERE, and I have ZERO doubt the man is a first class individual. That said, he still fucked up and was a co-conspirator in the charade to intentionally defraud paying fans, who were paying for a live performance!

Soto All The Way wrote: That and the supposed letter he sent you. Ha,Ha, Ha, Ha,Ha....Now That's priceless......

Not that it even matters, but Dean's story about Steve Augeri sending him an email on the tragic loss of his son has been corroborated on numerous occasions, by reputable sources (including Andrew)! I'm not sure why showing compassion for another human being, who was forced to bury their own child, is such a difficult concept for you to grasp. Based on everything I've read about Steve Augeri, him sending a letter of sympathy to grieving parents is VERY consistent with what everyone has said about the man! I realize you hate Dean, and that's your right. I honestly don't care who hates who, because the internet has NEVER been the real world to me, and I've never gotten caught up in the drama. I just think you need to lay off of even bringing up a parent's loss of their child. As the dad of a little boy, I can't even begin to understand the complete devastation that Dean and Lula experienced in losing their son. You don't have to respect either of them, but you should have respect for the tragic loss of a human life, LONG before its time!
