OT: NCAA results?

How's everyone else doing on their NCAA bracket thus far? I filled out two brackets for the pool I joined and I got 14 of the 16 games correct on one of them (picked Texas A&M to beat BYU and picked Georgia to defeat Xavier). I only got 11 of the 16 correct on my other bracket.

Correction: I correctly picked the winner of Texas A&M & BYU. The CBS Sportsline bracket manager is incorrectly crossing out Texas A&M as the winner, so I've actually got 15 of 16 games correct thus far.

I noticed that! Why is that happening? It crosses out Texa A&M but also advances Texas A&M. Hope they catch this error.

i do the espn brackets... have three brackets filled out, normally do abut 5... but this time not that interested for whatever reason, even with Drake in there...
I get banged up pretty good normally...

DUKE almost got beat... and K-STATE beating USC shows that the PAC ten is over rated again... the game that would be very interesting is a DRAKE UCLA match up revisiting
the 1969 final 4. that could happen in the round of 16 if drake can make it past today and Sunday--- and of course UCLA has to win too!!!

Holy crap! How about the ending in the Western Kentucky vs. Drake game? Three pointer by Western Kentucky to win at the buzzer in OT. Fortunately, I had picked them to win this game. :D

SO CLOSE DAMN!! too many seconds were left when Drake was shooting their free throws at the end. I think the whole City of Des Moines
was standing and cheering to DAMN--- in 5 seconds!!

LOL, yeah dude, the PAC 10 is overrated. Ok... USC is a 4th place team taking on a 3rd place team. Don't get me wrong, I HATE USC, but Kansas State is the next Fab Four. Everyone comes back for three years.

We'll see how UCLA does against A+M, Wazzu vs The Catholics and Stanford. I bet they all win handily.

Duke is a joke. The most overrated team every year. I am just waiting for K to have is annual breakdown and say how "these kids battled, sniff sniff, these kids deserve so much better, sniff sniff, I love these kids." Then next week, Count Chocula will be on the CBS show doing commentary. Fuckin fraud.

Xavier beat Perdue so next week we get to play Bob Huggins and W Va. He coached Univ Cincinnati for years and this town always had the crosstown shootout. My one daughter grad from Xavier and the other UC. I say go Xavier !

The goddamn Midwest has screwed up my points. I got almost all of those wrong. Everything else is decent though. I just pick based on rank, haha.

goddamn? Thought you weren't into this tourney? Shit, for awhile yesterday, I was afraid Wazzu would be the only PAC 10 team left. Stanford and FUCLA were both lucky. A+M isn't that good.

Sparty's looking like another Final 4 bunch for Izzo. As a 5-seed you're not gonna face a tougher opening 1-2 than Temple and Pitt. And they handled both with relative ease.

They'll have their hands full with Memphis, though. The only chance they have there is to keep it close and hope it comes down to free throw shooting. Memphis is horrible at under 60% on the year. They don't have a single player that shoots better than 69%.

Anyway, still in first place here despite losing one of my final four teams (Georgetown).

Memphis is vulnerable.

They shoot 50% from the line. = done. Izzo is too smart not to manipulate this weakness.

The problem is if he does exploit that, he'll put his players at risk of collecting too many fouls and then, even if Memphis shoots poorly from the line, they'll still end up getting enough points to get some cheap scores. Not only that but he'll be playing into Memphis' strength, which is the inside game.

i have 11 of 16 teams left in one bracket my elite 8 if all goes well i have 7 still alive...
Memphis, Texas, UCLA then WISC KANSAS Tennessee, and north Carolina.
in this pool iam at 27,000 place... its first time forever that i have been this close
to have over 50% in the elite 8 still alive.
