Sorry if this has been posted already.

But a little while ago I had the Ellen show on and she mentioned Arnel and him being Journey's new lead vocalist. She also mentioned how Neal Schon (she didn't pronounce Schon correctly) found Arnel on Youtube.

She showed one of the Youtube clips of Arnel singing DSB. And she said that her show is working on having Journey on her show.

Larry brought it up in another thread.

Does anyone have a video of this? would be interesting to see

I said in the other thread before, its good promotion for the band, I hope they perform on it.

I was looking for the video, but haven't been able to find it yet. This is definitely the kid of stuff the Band needs.

Very nice PR from Ellen. She did say they are trying to get Journey on....Um, that's a no brainer.

I know I'm in the minority here because she has loads of fans, but I don't think she has an ounce of talent, humor or any entertainment value whatsoever.

I hate her talk show. . . alot!!!

But I liked her sitcom.

I think she's both funny and talented. Very witty dry humor though. I don't like talk shows in general, so I don't watch for that reason, but I'd set the TiVo to record a Journey appearance. Just hope they don't only do DSB. New material, folks. New.

Caught her show this afternoon..very cool she gave such PR to the band..let's just hope she comes through with having them on her show.

i think it has something to do with a german made pool stick named a Schon pronounced Shown.. i bet she spells his name neil as well..

I think that people who aren't big Neal Schon/Journey fans usually think that Neal's last name is pronounced Shown.

I don't get the same mental picture as you do but I have liked Ellen since her early days in stand-up comedy. Her routines on airline peanuts, talking to God on the phone and how women manage to get a toilet seat wet are classics!
