OT: Kid musicians of the Philippines

It was 1986 when I stepped on Philippine soil for the very first time. What struck me the most was the talent that I saw in all the clubs. There was literally live bands in nearly all big clubs. We are talking a mile strip of nothing but wall to wall clubs. The AMO Band with Arnel was actually the second band I saw on my first time to the Philippines. There were so many and all of them were half way decent, some were stand outs, but AMO fronted by Arnel was top of the line in my opinion.

So much misical talent in the Philippines. I just was blown away by it all and still sometimes I still feel the same remembering all of these adventures I participated in. Now 20 some odd years later, a person doesn't need to book an int'l flight to go and check out the happenings half way across the globe. No, YouTube among other things is right there in our own home for the taking.

Tonight I found a clip of a 14 year old chick in the Philippines who can play some guitar. I would have to say that we may see this chick when she gets older and perhaps will be the next generation of great female guitarists. For just 14 she's pretty good, better then alot of guitarists I've seen who are adults.

I've never eaten a piece of sushi I didn't thoroughly enjoy.
