Hey, all.... 8)

Upon reading the amazing interview with HH, that Andrew landed...BRAVO! Sir \~/

I had the "Greatest Hits" DVD in my TV's DVD player ....so, I watched it:

And, y'know what?

TOTALLY can see the "difference" in Steve....from the "After The Fall" video - then, the "Street Talk" break from Journey - to "Girl Can't Help It":

MUCH more confidence...and MAJOR Vocal Change...

Perhaps he SHOULD'VE moved on....

Just my .02 8)

Well Nora- I think he could sing for ROR and TBF and even his '94 tour. I just don't think he could be expected to sing like 30yrs old again. He even sounded great with David Pack on a "Brand new start "a few yrs back. Your opinion?

No; don't misunderstand me:

I'm not saying he COULDN'T sing anymore....

I'm just saying that TO ME, his whole approach to performing / his look changed so much in the interim from 83 to 86.
And I really think his Solo-Time - in 84 - is what brought it on.

There was something totally different about him during ROR....my friends and I were SHOCKED when we saw Steve open the show with "Only The Young"...we were like, "That's STEVE??"
