Two people have been arrested and 416 children were taken into temporary legal custody at the YFZ Ranch after the 16-year-old girl’s call last week, a police spokesman said.
A court affidavit prepared by the state’s Child Protective Services department said the girl first called a local family violence shelter on March 29 “expressing the need to leave her current living situation.” She told the shelter her parents brought her to the ranch a year ago and that she was “spiritually married to an adult male member of the church” — becoming the man’s seventh wife.
The compound is just a few miles from my house and in fact, the authorities are keeping all of the kids, along with 130 women about a block from where I work. I drove by there at lunch, very interesting, state troopers thick as thieves.
No one should be FORCED to marry or have sex, no matter what age they are. These "leaders" are nothing more than insecure little fuckwads who use fear and religion to their advantage. Lock'em all up. Then they can still have their own little compound with big walls and try to force their beliefs into people their own size, they'll be the ones forced to marry... have sex...
