Hi guys!

Does anyone know how non-USA residents can order the new album when Wal Mart doesn't ship outside America?

Thanks in advance for your help. :)

I thought every country had a Walmart. Learned something new today.
Is there no deal to have a foreign label release the cd outside the USA?-ERIC

Well Britain have ASDA which is owned by WallMart.

I'd imagine that maybe you could order from ASDA for WallMart goods (ie Revelation) but I dont know. Hopefully they will announce soon how Europe can buy the album

I suspect the Walmart thing is within the US only,
and the album will be retailed conventionally overseas
(although, yes Walmart makes something off of that as well).

Wasn't the Eagles' last album available in record bars overseas?

wech

Hi Paul,

I was talkin to the guys in my local record store & they believe that the UK is having a general release of the album & it should be available on or around the US release date!

So are we getting the two CD and DVD package too, please?

Also, regarding the NEW songs. do we know who has written them? Is it Neal & Jonathan or are there other writers involved? :?

if its like the eagles deal, walmart gets elclusive in the us (and canada i think). the band are free to cut deals in europe/rest of the world, seperate from the us-walmart deal.

The Eagles album was available in all stores selling CD's in the UK. On Amazon.uk, too.

I did not go to Walmart to buy the REO Speedwagon release - I must have ordered it off the website because it is the full of "extras" release, same as WalMart. I wonder if Journey will sell it on their site.

I beleive I remember in an interview I read with KS that it was all Neal and Jon writing no one else involved except for JEremy getting credit for one song he wrote with them the week he was out auditioning for the singer job

Thanks. There was just a rumour on a UK website where someone said there were some JSS had co-written going on it.
I thought that must be incorrect.

Thanks mate, I already checked. :D

WAZDA are pretty cheap, so maybe we won't get ripped off. Unlike everywhere else in the UK.
Wonder if they will have it in stock on the same day as the US release.

'Drew mentioned a while back that the band is still working on the distributtion deal for the non-domestic version. I would think you will get a different package, and likely a bonus track that the US do not get....but who knows? I am certain when the deal is made there will be some announcement.

Going to be a shame to have to order it off the net though. I would love to walk into HMV and see the album on the shelf

That's the trouble when you can't shop around for something.
I got my Eagles Long Road Out Of Eden [special edition] CD for £5.94 from Amazon which I think is a bargain.
I hate getting ripped off for stuff. I paid over the odds for that Robyn Flans book on Journey [ebay] and don't want to be ripped off again if I can help it.

This is a great thread. Hey Andrew, why not shoot the band an email and see if you get any feedback. Our bi-weekly bathed European neighbors want to know when they can pick up Revelation and I'm interested in knowing how Journey plans on getting this product to those outside of the U.S. What do you say, Drew?

How about giving copies away free with deodorant?

This would make a great Guinness commercial..."Free deodorant with the new CD? Brilliant!!!"
