OT: Who wants some?!? :)
Posted: Sun Apr 20, 2008 2:22 pmAfter a few weeks of being unusually slower at work, the heavens opened up and took a big fat dump on me, dropping 4 fat projects in my lap within a 36 hours. The past few weeks have been crazy and I scrambled to track down parts, adjust quotes, get stuff ordered, send back incorrect orders, and meet everyone's deadlines which were too close to start with.
The past 4 days, I've been in the office until well past midnight preparing for the next day's project, and I don't like to pack them so close together, because it leaves no room for error. I literally cannot afford a mistake because I can't go back to correct it with my schedule this crazy. So I've been pretty much propped up on coffee and energy drinks, which after so many days without more than 4 hours of sleep, begins to have a strange effect... it's like you are wired and jacked up, but you physically feel heavy and droopy like a zombie which should be dead, but keeps coming back for another sequel.
So I get back in the office and try to catch up with all the other stuff that's been getting left behind... e-mails, voicemails, and stuff. Speaking of which, our e-mail situation is out of control right now. I literally have 3 freaking places where things judged to be SPAM may go, as multiple filters have been put into place recently. , and we've been getting creamed with false posltives lately, so I get around to checking the web-based SPAM portal, or the SPAM folder that resides in my Deleted Items bin, or the Outlook Junk E-Mail folder, to find several legit messages along these lines... "I e-mailed you 5 days ago and you still haven't responded. If you are unable to take care of our needs, can you suggest someone who can?"

Right now there is only one thing that I think will bring a little cheer to my day, that that is to kick a few people square in the ass for no good reason... so WHO WANTS SOME?!?

If you're feeling down, just go get you a new car man, and you'll feel a lot better! I even took the time out of my busy day to find a couple of dealerships out there that can help you out!
