I'm not sold on Arnel yet, but even I'll forgive him a bad note, or even a bad night (unless I paid for the tickets, lol).

He was obviously trying to hit the high harmony that Perry did on the studio cut, but missed it by a mile.

What does Neal and Jon think about Arnel going on TV shows and singing Journey songs without them?

youre questioning his singing abilities cos he missed a freaking note one one youtube clip? u got to be kidding me! what about the hundreds of other youtube clips like the once in Vegas for example, whats ur complaint on that? Everyone that went to Vegas show was impressed with his voice, and u give him crap over this.

This is ridiculous, two bad notes in a duet with a crappy band and someone hes not used to singing with. I would barely notice if it wasn't pointed out and don't care anyway. The overall performance was good. People just want to find something negative to post :roll:

I wasn't referring to Journey...The video has some other band playing with Arnel, and they don't sound worth a damn together! Arnel's vocals (Other than the 2 bad notes) don't sound bad at all.

I agree with everyone here on the nitpicking part. I just don't understand WHY journey would let him go out and do "Journey" with shit bands like this? It's not a good promotional tool for the band.

And yeah...Journey CAN play these songs in their sleep. Musicians don't get better than Journey in my book!
