Perry Duets

While changing the brakes on my car yesterday, I started thinking about interesting people Perry could have recorded duets with. Here are some of the people who came to mind:

Michael McDonald
Aretha Franklin
Don Henley
Alison Krauss
Daryl Hall
Barry Gibb
Karen Carpenter
Belinda Carlyle
Jon Anderson

Any thoughts?

Yes. Make sure you bleed the brakes properly and use only Dot 3 brake fluid.

Oh man, Steve and Barry Gibb? Damn - I'd have a heart attack!

I told my husband in 1978 the only man I'd ever leave him for was Barry Gibb. When my husband saw Barry's wife, Linda, his response was "Well, I won't have to worry about that!" :D

Lol - Funny timing. I had a dream recently where Perry was playing bass and singing "Better be good to me" and Let's stay together" with Tina Turner. It was great, if course
(It was probably triggered by her performance on the Grammys (?). She was the best part of the show, lol. & @ 70, even sexier than Beyonce, imo...)

I really like the idea of him singing with Krauss... wow! To his ears, lol

good point rick!! and sometimes bleeding the old way just wont get all the air out , so park on an
incline and let it bleed by itself.. ya know.. crap runs downhill..

I always thought a duet with Mariah Carey and Perry would have been a HUGE hit...2 of the very best soulful voices around!

That would've officially ruined SP for me. Sorry but I'm a Carey hater. Two things I'm not happy about.

1. She covered Open Arms

2. Neal covered Hero on Voice (this not as bad since her voice isn't in there). :)

Okay, spill da beans! Where did you meet them? I have a great photo take of them at the 1994 Andy Gibb memorial fund raiser - Ali is about five or so.....

We can only dream. Who is Jon Anderson? And didn't karen Carpenter pass away in the mid-'70s, before Journey became well-known.

Thank you, Larry. I'm new at these kind of things. Just experimenting, you can't even see my face, lol. Didn't know what to expect until it got on the screen. Looks like I need to crop and enlarge a little bit, eh?
I was gun-shy about "throwing" my photo at people's faces. 8)

Shit! At first I thought of the country singer John Anderson. He sang that wonderful song from the 80's "Just a Swinging"... Anyone remember that one?
