My first post, but a big Journey fan, so go easy on me. Am I crazy, but wasn't there a show on MTV maybe 15-20 years ago that had a duo by Schon and Cain. If I remember correctly it was a special show on MTV that featured interviews and a live concert fotage with a bunch of guitar greats. I seem to remember Neal and Jon doing a song called "Ever Since Your Gone" or something close to it. The show also featured Neal interviewed breifly about Hendrix. Neal saying Hendrix made sounds on the guitar when there was no technology to make sounds like he made on the guitar. I know I saw it or soemthing close to it. Does anyone remember it? If I'm wrong please tell me so I can get this out of my head. Thanks.

I'm not sure but you MAY be thinking of the Schon & Hammer project with Jan Hammer? No clue though, sorry if I'm dead wrong.

I remember watching it, but can't remember the name of the song Jon & Neal played. If it is the show I remember, it was taped at the Capitol Theatre in NJ in 1984. I used to have a copy of it on VHS but lost it long ago.

The special was called "Guitar Greats". Don't really know where you can find a copy - sorry.

Hey, someone was trying to sell it on ebay and didn't get any bids. Maybe you can still get a copy from this guy. Doesn't sound like the quality is that great, though.
