"Thought everyone would like to know it looks like Journey's
"Never Walk Away" will be their first single off their new CD. Just heard it today in upstate NY and it sounds GREAT!!!"

I asked the poster if it was the album version or if they just ripped youtube audio but so far no response. If it is the album version they are smart for releasing a song early to build up more hype.

The timing is about right -- six weeks before album release.

Finally! 8)

Good choice, too.

And I will say ballsy as well, not opting for the ballad.

I'm sure millions will be flying off the shelves. It will be bigger than "Open Arms" for sure. Make plans now to camp out in front of your local WalMart the night before the new album goes on sale to make sure you get a copy. We can start a big bonfire in the parking lot and burn our Journey Greatist Hits albums and CD's. We won't need them after we get the new re-recorded Greatest Hits.

LOL...I don't know about HEAVY, but he had to admit he liked it...he didn't want to. Weird about classic rock these days, we were listening to it with the night guy from our CHR station and mentioned that we were playing no less then ten new songs from classic rock artists right now, more then our Top 40 and our CHR stations. He also just added the new Crue song...LOVE that one

I am very excited by a swing towards playing new material from classic artists. For so long there has been a huge void. Maybe times are a-changing?

Let's see if I can remember most of the ones we are playing right now...

Asia
Tom Petty
Rush
Motley Crue
Def Leppard
REM
Black Crowes
Steve Winwood

Giving a listen to the new Whitesnake today, plus looking forward to new releases this year from Queen and John Mellencamp.

I'm looking forward to hearing the new Whitesnake. Queen? Nah...Should be called Near-Queen. Kinda like near beer. It might look like beer. It might taste kinda like beer but all the pizzazz is gone.

I like my idea of splitting the difference between Bad Company and Queen and going with "Bad Queen" :D

That may be a little extreme. I'll continue to hang on to my older greatest hits but by all means-- everyone do what they feel is right.
