Whoa, wait, Faith in the Heartland, wtf?
Either Neal & Co. decided to give that amazing song the recording quality it deserves, or they've reached a new level of laziness.
Some of these titles sound a little too balladic too. "Like a Sunshower," "Where Did I Lose Your Love," "What I Needed," "Turn Down The World Tonight."
I don't want a freakin' Bad English or Survivor record.

Did the band love FITH soooo much they want to give it a 2nd chance? Did Arnel do SOOO well singing it that they felt the need to re-record it? Maybe this is the opportunity everyone always wanted when they asked 'what would you think if Perry re-recorded Arrival tunes'?
WTF!

The heartwarming sentiment offered by “Like a Sunshower” gives a more poetic and reflective look at relationships. It’s an uncharacteristic ballad from the more hard rock-inclined Schon.
I thought it was a joke!

I think its a good idea...it never REALLY got released and its an amazing song that needed better production..It was the best song they've done post perry...so why not give it another shot.

3rd best.
Remember Me, Higher Place both trump FITH. But I love all three more than most Perry-era material.

God damn it.
Especially the last one.
And you know... considering what's happened with DSB in the last few years, and the reminder to everyone through TWO big resurgances that it was and still IS a fucking icon of a song, I'm surprised they even touch it. That's like the Pope going "you know what, I think I can do a better job on this so-called Bible, let me have a crack at it."
DID NOT NEED TO BE TOUCHED.

Aren't they going to change the title to "Faith In the Heartland Tonight", like they did for "In Self Defense"?

Maybe because it is FAR from a recognizable "hit" for Journey....Disc 2 is the 're-recording of CLASSIC Journey songs'.

I DON'T like the re-records.
Had they picked their "top" 11 songs NOT on the regular GH I would have said fine...but this just doesn't make a bit of sense at all.
Feeling that Way
Anytime
Just the Same Way
City of the Angels
Escape
Stone in Love
Keep on Runnin
Mother, Father
Chain Reaction
Edge of the Blade
When you Love a Woman

Actually that is probably THE very reason they did it. EVERYONE knows that song!

I'd rather have it be Schon/Pineda on the duet. Schon's got a superior voice compared to the Frigate.

I agree, but Jon has handled all the Rollie vox on tour.
